This is undoubtedly one of the most challenging projects that Sierra Properties have ever undertaken. Set on a prominent corner in the heart of Sandringham, the site had no parking, extremely limited access, powerlines, neighbouring shops and foot traffic to deal with just to name a few of the obstacles that were put forward during construction. The project consisted of 3 existing shops that were renovated and altered to allow for 3 additional storeys that made up 5 units and an office. All units have unrestricted views over port phillip bay and we think the outcome was perfect for the landscape and growing population moving in and around major transport hubs. The existing building was built in 1922, and with our modern touch in 2010 we hope it will last another 100 years standing proud in Sandringham Village.
